Im at Shantay area and this Level 95 Stranger follows me. He is wearing a DDS in one hand and nothing in the other. When I leave Shantay Area, he stays at the edge and walks around, when I re-enter, he automaticallys follow me. The "He has no intrest in fighting you" came from the click when I clicked "Attack option" and the "Very mysterious looking.." came from the Examine option. This is the first I've seen him.

 

It's from some quest if I remember right.. I can't remember which one though.

 

He used to attack you and he almost killed me one time :angry:

Desert treasure

He is only supposed to show up and attack you if you have one of the Desert Treasure diamonds on you. That is why it is important to bank them quickly after receiving them.

I haven't done Desert Treasure, not even started it ;s

A Stranger sometimes appears when you have a diamond of Azzanadra in your inventory. He wields a poisoned Dragon dagger and follows the closest person to him. He is non-attackable to the players not doing Desert Treasure.

 

He has been known in some cases to stalk random players who aren't holding a diamond, and even attack them, causing a real problem because they can't fight back.

 

Recent reports have also revealed that the stranger has appeared after Desert Treasure was completed, but will leave you alone if you log out, or wait a little while.

Apparently someone else was doing the quest and he just started to follow you.
