GameSock
Combat level: 79Attack: 70Strength: 61Defense: 63Slayer:34Hitpoints: 65Prayer: 43 Notable Items: Fury, helm of Neitiznot, 1.3m cash Im looking for a method to train my combat stats up to around 75-80, making cash for a whip along the way. Im looking for some sort of monster, or if I should do slayer. I was thinking also about maybe doing hunter or something to afford my whip if you think i should get that before i start. Thanks in advance.
AnthonyWL
I would train Slayer.. It is low, maybe not great experience, if you have a Control weapon use that to raise all skills at once. To be honest. Most of the faster xp training methods that float around you level of.. Skill, don't drop much and won't make enough money for a whip. At least with Slayer you maaaaaaaaay get lucky in a clue and get some wacky drops of herbs. Also, plant Herbs all over Runescape and make Herb runs frequently.Hope this helps. -AnthonyWL 99 Fishing | 99 Cooking | 99 Woodcutting | | 99 Herblore | 99 Prayer | | 99 Runecrafting | 99 Fletching | 99 Hitpoints | 99 Range |Youtube: AnthonyOnRS. tigershelby2
I suggest slayer. And if I were you I would sell the fury, and buy a whip. A whip is mush better than a fury, and a glory works just fine until you can afford the fury again. Darkvengence
I wouldn't sell the Fury, your going to sell it now and have some cash. But when you go to buy it again your going to have to pay a lot more because of the recent update, so you essentially payed a bunch of extra money just to get some other item. It's probably not a good idea to buy or sell a fury for atleast a couple of weeks, until the hype dies down a little bit. Personally I just buy and sell equipment as needed, without worrying about prices. Sure, you will lose some money, but unless you are dealing with 20m+ items, you should be fine. Just my opinion though. Barrows: Verac- Helm, Brassard x 2,Torag- Body, HammersKaril- CrossbowGuthan- BodyAhrim- Hood, Staff

Just my opinion though. In this case, the fury is almost guaranteed to jump up to a much higher price, most likely atleast a few million gp more. To someone like the OP who can't yet afford a whip, a couple mil is going to make a big difference.
