So it isn't that good against random monsters but it rocks against dagannoths. It's speed is a bit slow, but the high hits on dag's makes up for it. I hit in the upper 40's during the quest. December 17, 200916 yr From what i hear, its only useful if you can't get a SGS to use while at DKs. If you kill them on a task, the Whip+Def is still better as they are low leveled and you get faster hits. Now its still prob a fun weapon to use, but if you're going for speed then the whip is still best to use. December 17, 200916 yr I've been experimenting with this on normal monsters (before I go back & finish the quest). It's a neat "quest reward" in that you don't have to finish the quest to get it. It's definitely slow; about what I have experienced with other 2H weapons. Definitely slower than a whip. But it's fun to light up dags with, no doubt. I wish it had a special.
