Best Set Up For Blood Runs Deep

So I saw another post about this, and I'm having a bit of trouble too. What's the best set-up for this final fight? I heard full Karils, full Verac's, dagon'hai, a hybrid set-up...what would be the best (keeping my stats in mind) for this fight? Also, how many runes should I bring?

Its really easy... just bring mystic top + bottom neitiznot helm and the rest you should figure out. I brought an ancient staff, crossbow, and balmung

Personally I'd just mix and match armour until u get decent range def. But also a marginally positive mage attack bonus.

 

Then melee prayer + food

Use balmung a cbow and autocast the spells as needed

You can exploit the fact that the Mother does not change combat styles until a little after you pray against her style.

 

So if you wear Ahrims and max about magic defense, you can pray switch until she uses mage then turn off prayer altogether (unless you wanna use stat boosters). You can then tank her very weak and very inaccurate hits.

 

Over the course of the fight, I used 2 monks and 10 healing aura scrolls. However, I used Karils so half the time I had armor unequipped.
