Theoretically yes you could, you mentioned reading a guide - this will be vital for the first few waves but really, nothing can prepare you for Jad imo, just bite your lip and try your hardest on your first attempt.

Second attempts are much easier :)

One suggestion is to improve your prayer though, that'll be your biggest benefit - second to maybe 70 defence for Veracs helm+skirt.

I'd suggest not using Guthans at your melee levels, you'd spend far too long trying to get a heal and wasting prayer points(which isn't productive considering your prayer level.) Veracs skirt&helm with a few brews really is the best for you, in my opinion at least!

To be honest, its gonna be a piece of cake for you lol. You can tank most enemies and not have to pray occasionally for the 90's, but you really should get 70+ defence for an even easier time :P.

*Sigh* 45 Def fc's are even easier IMO lol.

He cant use guthans anyway without 70attack and defence.

When I first Jad (by that time we dont have nice bolts but have to bring 2 crappy crystal bows in), I was 77att, 76str, 76def, 74ranged, 55prayer, 79hp.

Guthans method is the "safer" way, because all we need is 2 brews and 2 super restores. It usually end with more prayer pots at Jad ,compared with the veracs method. You dont have to subsistute prayer pots for more brews.

The main damage from fight caves is the lv9x ranging guys, thats the only time when guthans come in.
