Blutters Posted December 24, 2009 Share Posted December 24, 2009 I've got the stuff for 99 Prayer banked. I'm actually 92 Prayer at the moment and will be getting 95 Prayer soon no matter what. My question is should I go all the way and get 99 Prayer or spend the money I would have spent on those last 4 levels on a Saradomin Godsword? Or would a Dragonfire Shield, Bandos Godsword, and Zamorakian Spear be wiser?Although my combat stats are fairly low, I believe I could probably manage to kill a few Tormented Demons once I get this new gear. At the current prices I calculate that (24,400 - 7,400 = 17,000 x 4,400) I would have 74.8m plus a little from familiars and marrentills that I could sell. It's great to have, but with the EE, BGS, and DDS specs, there are great alternatives for every situation. ~It's Super Effective! Cantristenon Posted December 24, 2009 Share Posted December 24, 2009 My advice is to train summoning to at least 88. You could just train your magic by bursting/barraging while getting charms. Extra magic levels are useful for magic defence in various places and for me 96 magic is invaluable for teleports since i spend mostly my time on lunar magics. Turmoil doesn't drain stats. Cptbaker08 Posted December 24, 2009 Share Posted December 24, 2009 I would get the higher Herblore levels, Super Antifires and the Extreme seem to be very helpful. I had the SGS and then sold it to get prayer up. Getting 95 prayer seems to be what most people are doing for the Turmoil prayer. Any reason to go higher is to get the max combat or the 99 in the skill. I had a SGS and I loved it, but it's not really worth it if you need other things. I sold mine to get the prayer levels and used the other money to buy a BCP and Tassets. Once I get some more money i might sell them and get ~81 Herblore myself. I heard from friends that for 65-81 herblore it will cost me 60m. With another 15m you could prob get to 85 or so. I'm not that great of a guesser. Glad I found this calc! :DYa thats the calc i was looking at. Yesterday it had them at being 19 gp/xp. Another thing you might want to look at though is that when you can make the higher level potions, they are really cheap but you need some other kind of potion to make them. So making Antifires may be a bad decision now, but once you can make supers it might be worth it. Same goes with the Extremes potions. Glad I found this calc! :DI find that the calc on wiki is off on its prices very often. You might want to check them yourself to make sure.I'd just get 95 prayer and use the rest on herblore, the 75m should at least get you 88 (probably 89) so you can use greenmans ale to make extreme str/att.
