I've been avoiding a dfs and chest/tassys for a long while, mainly because the prices have been insane (I quit around june/july and have just come back recently). I finally bought a dfs, as I really need one, but I'm still kind of reluctant on the bandos. My main concern isn't the bonuses offered, it's the current market status. I haven't been paying much attention to market prices, and would like to hear opinions on the price of bandos, will it keep rising? Is it due for a crash? Interactive dungeoneering floor mapper

However, if buying them leaves you broke, or you have to sell whip/ other items to buy, they aren't worth it. December 26, 200916 yr More a luxury item really. I have them because I want them, I like the +6 str, +2 prayer, bandos item, and good range def, and I can afford them. However, if buying them leaves you broke, or you have to sell whip/ other items to buy, they aren't worth it.I'd have to agree on this, they're not worth selling other basic items for (like whip/fury amulet) but if you do have the spare cash lying around why not buy them? You'll have some of the best combat gear in game, while looking awesome at the same time! And as said before, they will probably keep on rising for a while. And even if they do crash, the demand for them will be high enough to sell them for the GE minimum price, so that you won't lose that much money. Chuck Norris doesn't ever need a compass; he randomly points somewhere and north goes there in order not to anger him.

Personally I'm not going to spend money on bandos until I have extreme pots which seems like a much better use of the money.
