luker2d2
I have experience at barrows, although i took a break from runescape recently. Barrows armour prices have increased vastly, unfortunately, so has guthans. What is the best setup for someone witha cash pile of 10mil, with 80 on mele and rage stats to take to barrows? I also have full void. Kiss me, i'm part Irish!

atronic92
I have the same stats, so I'll suggest the method that I use: I recharge my prayer at my house and then take the Kharyll portal. Then I use the Myreque shortcut through the swamp to get to barrows. I go in the order Dharok, Karil, Verac, Torag, Guthan, Ahrim. The bow and Karil armor is for Ahrim, I use Verac's armor on all the other brothers. I drink one sip on the super attack and super strength potions right before I enter Dharok's mound each time. The prayer potions are only in case Dharok is my tunnel brother, otherwise I only use prayer until it runs out. I use protection from melee on Dharok, protection from range on Karil, and if I still have some left, piety on Verac. Using this method is very cheap, so even if I don't get a barrows item I usually make money from the runes. Each run take about 13-15 minutes so I can do roughly four per hour. If you can't afford all the items, I would downgrade Karil's armor to black dragonhide and then the fury to a glory. "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. Instead, we are doing this for the good of the game, which is as dear to our hearts as it is to you."- JAGEX, December 13, 2007
