Cooking speed and burn-stop levels

Featured Replies

I need to get 65-70 cooking so I can finish RFD. I'm going to use tuna as I can get them from my kingdom, and I do not have the Varrock armor 3 so I will be using the Nardah spot to cook unless there's a better spot. I do have cooking gauntlets.

My questions are as follows:

1. How fast does one inventory of 28 fish cook?

2. What is the burn-stop level for tuna with cooking gauntlets?

Balance may be power, but chaos is still pretty damn fun.

Canada can't be second rate, polar bears are their main mode of transportation.

I'm not sure of the exact time, but I usually averaged around 1200 fish cooked per hour. The Rogue's Den is my favorite place to cook.

Rogue's den is a fire though, don't those have a higher burn chance?

You have the gauntlets and 65 cooking, you don't have to worry about burning. If you're at a no burn rate, that's no burn for ranges AND fires. And since 68 is the no burn rate without the gauntlets, and you're using the gauntlets at 65, you'll be good.

it takes 2.4 seconds to cook a fish

1500 fish per hour is the theoretical maximum, but is less due to banking

Oh, okay! So fires have a higher burn rate, but not a higher stop-burn level...
