DK mage solo

Alright, I've just gotten my yak and I'm thinking of trying dking for fun. Could anyone tell me the inventory for solo dks mage with a yak? If possible, link me a guide or something which teaches me how to solo dks. I went there once or twice but failed I thinks. All help is appreciated.

That guide is old and not all that good to begin with.

Personally, when I solo with pony, I use this gear.

 

V helm

Fury

K top

V Skirt

Infinity boots

Void mace

Obby Shield (+65 range def, and cheaper too.)

Barrows gloves.

 

You can use arma plate instead of K top, but you are risking it then, I do believe.

 

For invy, I bring House tele, runes, EE, which I prefer above SGS (Def boost, don't have to find a spin to spec on, and always heals 20 hp), 4-5 antipoisions ++, balmung, rune c'bow+broads in arrow slot, 4 brews, the rest are super rests for soul split or if I want to tribrid some.

 

With a yak, I'd use brews+normal restore pots and a few prayer pots. The beauty of the yak is that you get at least 15k in drops every kill, so don't be cheap and bring monks+p pots or something in the yak, so you have to dismiss earlier and use a pony.

No. yak is far better, since you can bank all the hides+bones+ranaar+addy bar drops+all those other drops worth a few k, meaning you get around 15-17k a kill BEFORE rare drops like axes or rings.

Bring guthans if you're using a yak. Last time I went I planned to stay for like 5 hours, so I brought 5 extra yak pouches, 7 Anti ++ pots, runes and scrolls, EE; Whip, Black Body, Rune Cbow and broads to hybrid my way in (cba with suiciders). I also brought 10 sharks, 5 brews, 5 restores, and like 8 ppots in the event someone tries to crash/I screw up.
