Make Members items tradable on free worlds.

I don't know about you, but I have wanted to sell my members stuff, but my members credit ran out. I've been thinking about this for awhile, and I think it would be realisitc.

Instead of making members items on free worlds say simply 'members object', for example, a dragon longsword on an F2P server would show as 'dragon longsword (m)', the (m) to show that it's a members object. members items that are untradable in a members server would show as 'members object' like always. even though some of the members items would be tradable on free worlds, they would be completely useless. you can't equip them if they're otherwise equippable, and you can't make anything with members items on f2p servers. if you equip a members weapoon on a p2p server and switch to f2p, it will be equipped, but it will still be useless as always.

This would be a nice way to help ex members sell their members items, and this would also allow free players to buy member objects before their membership is activated so they can keep it in their bank until that time.

to warn free players that they are trading for a members object; on free worlds, when those items are being traded, a warning will appear above the accept button and below the item screen.

No...I am entirely against this idea. You know, there IS a reason why they are members items.

Noobs would get ripped off by members selling member items to them. I mean, it'd be kind of like a rare in a way. Free players would want to collect them, even though they couldn't use them...thus, Members could charge oodles of cash for them

No...it's just bad.

Oh, the scams that would arise. Making vials f2p was stupid in my opinion, though it sort of comes, since they gave f2p str pots. People in f2p, probably 2 years ago, would sell a vial of water, and say "level 35 herblaw to identify" or something along those lines.

If you became a member, without intentions of staying a member, then you shouldnt have invested in members items. They are MEMBERS items, and will stay on MEMBERS servers.

this wont happen. it makes no sense to jagex. EVERYTHING about runescape is an incentive to get paying members, because paying members keep runescape running, even for free players. why would jagex take away the incentive for an ex-member to resubscribe? until you join again, those items will haunt your f2p account, and youll give in and become a member sooner or later. muahahahahaha!! hahaha haha! hmmm....

Are you a member with a full bank and cancelling your subscription? Are you an F2P player that wants more bank space? Check out my guide on Going to F2P with a full bank

Ever consider the older account that get hacked to discover a payload of drops. The main majority of non-members are not aware of the items and members don't think that non-members would have anything good. If this happened then people who gave up then wanted to start again would find this hard as thier account would have be stripped to the bone because all the Drag stuff and such could be taken with easy... This would flood the market. I say You just leave it how it is, theres a reason behind it

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I agree, this is a great idea. Then I can transfer my member items to my mule when I take breaks from members.

You and others would like that, obviously, but it's not fair. When you pay for membership, you get to have those items and that amount of bank space only for as long as you pay - you agree to that up front.

No way on this idea. The line between f2p amd p2p must not be blurred.
