Herblore: Is Prayer Potion still the best potion for cheap Herblore XP?

Featured Replies

Looking to train up my herblore, does anyone who's been recently training and keeping an eye on the cost of training know which potion makes the least loss, assuming you buy all the ingredients/vials needed and sell the product?

Would be great if there's a 'Making Potions' table that extract GE data to compare the cost of training, like that of the summoning tables.

Prayer potions are not and never have been the most cost-effective way to train Herblore.

I have an extensive guide to Herblore training trade-offs including real-time costs and item values on dozens of activities, on the members' portion of my site. Right now prayers appear to be well down the list. If you want some cost-effective ways of training prayer, try making Barbarian mixes (no "Make X" though), Serum 207, or lower-level potions with cheap ingredients like restore or energy pots.

This is even faster. I can do it faster than in the previous video, but I can't do it this fast, lol. Something he doesn't mention in the video is that you should use the "5" and "+" key to spam click, while on mousekeys.
