Our_Moon
I am looking to exercise my chest and core, but i have recently stress fractured my wrist so that i cannot hold, pull, or push anything with it... this eliminates bench pressing, pushups, and most other pulling/pushing of weights... What is there that i can do for my chest until my wrist heals? I have access to free weights at home and a rather impressive gym at school (but only once every other day.) Would something like the plank and situps be good for the core? Thanks!!
Aiel
Would something like the plank and situps be good for the core?plank and situps are both ab exercises, not chest, but they wouldnt aggravate your wrist DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). bongo_man
I'm pretty sure any chest exercise (especially for isolation) will require you to use some sort of weight/cable. However if you want to focus on core, I suggest exercises such as: bicycle crunch, reverse crunch, double crunch. There are many more exercises you can do for your core, but those are my favourite three to do. You should avoid doing planks, because like Aeil said it'll aggravate your wrists. Our_Moon
Does squatting do anything for the core, or is that mainly for the back and legs? I can do those, without using my wrists ;).
Skeptical
Would something like the plank and situps be good for the core?plank and situps are both ab exercises, not chest, but they wouldnt aggravate your wrist Planks are ok... never do situps, horrible for you, and not very useful.
