bearofthunder
Find a midi file of the song you want, and then use a sheet-music composing software like Finale. http://www.finalemusic.com/
Mercifull
Like your own music that you have composed or a song by someone else? I'm not aware of a magical program that could convert an mp3 or similar into sheet music. You can however find sheet music or tabs of pretty much every song ever written on many websites on the internet. Search google for " sheet music" Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. Death_By_Pod
Songs produce a pretty unique fingerprint which would be very hard to decipher. However I guess it would be possible to make sheet music out of a single instrument playing if you know the timbre, but for band music it would be practically impossible. Look at some of the images below that have turned up in certain songs, what notes would you classify them as? It would be a nice feature as I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve always wondered what certain notes were played in certain songs but it's pretty much impossible. Adam007
http://www.notation.com/ Has a one month free trial. Worked great for me when I downloaded it a year or so back.
ldb88
Noteworthy Composer is an excellent one. It's the one that I use. It doesn't have a trial period; the only downside is that you can only save 10 times. 10 times! But you could always copy/paste it into a new file and get 10 more saves. But Death By Pod is right, it would be practically impossible to turn a complicated mp3 into a simple midi without problems.
