Beholders

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of a new slayer monster that would go great for high levels looking for some easier exp.

[spoiler=Stats]Levels:

Small Beholder: 75

Magic Beholder: 90

Large Beholder: 105

Tyrant Beholder: 138

HP:

Small Beholder: 70

Magic Beholder: 80

Large Beholder: 85

Tyrant Beholder: 110

Max hits:

Small Beholder: 20 with melee, 0 with range as it does not use ranged attacks, 40 with magic (no prayer).

Magic Beholder: 0 with melee as it does not use melee, 0 with range as it does not use ranged, 50 with magic (no prayer).

Large Beholder: 25 with melee, 0 with range as it does not use ranged, 45 with magic (no prayer).

Tyrant Beholder: 30 with melee, 0 with range as it does not use range, 50 with magic (no prayer).

Examine: A giant floating eye! or Avert your eyes!

Levels and quests required to slay:

Small Beholder: Priest in peril, 80 Slayer

Magic Beholder: Priest in peril, 85 Slayer

Large Beholder: Priest in peril, 80 Slayer

Tyrant Beholder: Smoking kills, 90 Slayer

Appearance: Look at Concept Art. The main difference between each beholder is size. The Small and Magic Beholders are the same size but the Magic Beholder has an aura of magic looming around it to make it look like a glowing bluish green.

The Beholders seem to have the ability to hover above the ground and fire a weakening beam from their main eye, the smaller eyes do the damage by casting a spell

[spoiler=credits]Jagex for making the amazing game.

Ed Greenwood for making the book 'Elminster' that mentions the Beholder as an Eye Tyrant and giving me the idea.

All my friends that supported me.

It should drop a misc item called, The Eye of the Beholder, with a special effect or something :3

What do beholder bones do?

It should drop a misc item called, The Eye of the Beholder, with a special effect or something :3

Perhaps some sort of stat viewer? Like the Lunar spell?

What do beholder bones do?

Yeah, what do they do?

Hate to kind of burst your bubble.. Buuuut

The beholder is a fictional monster in the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. It resembles a floating orb of flesh with a large mouth, single central eye, and lots of smaller eyestalks on top with deadly magical powers.

The Beholder is among the most classic of all Dungeons & Dragons monsters, appearing in every edition of the game since 1975. They are one of the few classic Dungeons & Dragons monsters that Wizards of the Coast claims as Product Identity.

It is a very old monster with many forms. I don't think, but this is just me. Jagex will even consider this. I am sure that at least 1 person within Jagex has come up with this idea. Being Dungeons and Dragons; it is a popular game that has been around for decades and i am almost 100% sure someone has mentioned it. It is a cool monster, very much so in fact that i was surprised when i saw there were no variants of the thing.. At all. Surely Jagex would have done this at least once had they thought about it..

I'm just saying. Cool idea. Unlikely chance it will happen or there will be any variants. But.. Good luck to you anyways.

**EDIT**

It should drop a misc item called, The Eye of the Beholder, with a special effect or something :3

That's a song :P

It is by Metallica and was made during the ...And Justice for All Album :P

World of Warcraft also has this monster and they drop "Beholder Eyes"
