Vimeo tags and one emoticon adjustment

Featured Replies

First off, it would be nice to have tags for embedding videos from Vimeo. It has increased in popularity lately and I've been wanting to be able to embed them here. I found the code to do it, although I'm sure that the admins around here know how to use Google too. There, I saved you about 30 seconds. :P

The other thing is the B) emoticon. Unfortunately, if you are listing things with letters and parenthesis, you may find that your second point is changed into this emoticon, its code is b) or B). Why not just change it to B-)?

Thanks.

Agree on both counts.

Well, there are a couple ways around the B) issue already:

  • Use
    • tags like I did here.
    • Use "B." instead of "B)".
    • Use numbers instead of letters.
    • Turn off emoticons in your post.

Keep in mind that were the code to change, it could screw up all the emoticons in existing posts, yeah? That could be messy.

Pretty sure it wouldn't effect the prior messages unless they are edited.

Anyway, I agree on both accounts, can't hurt.
