After doing most of the quest before the guide was written I noticed just 1 fault in the guide, Nomad's max hit is not 1 less than your hp. my hp level is 98 and using his 2nd special he hit a full on 98 on me without my hp boosted.

If that's true, it's a glitch. My HP is 99 and his max hit was 98.

Sounds like u miss read or glitched.

 

I've attempted him 5 times so far, even time that attack has hit 85 on me (86 hp)

Or just report it and get it moved :wink: But it's good to let him know for future reference i guess.

Anyway, it sounds like a glitch, because my hp was 98 too when i did the quest, and his max was 97. Best thing you can do is send in a bug report if you're positive of him hitting 98 on a character with a max of 98 hp.

3 fights, all times the attack hit me for 98 @ 99 hp.

It seems to be a glitch. In all other recorded fights with nomad, the hits have indeed been max HP-1. Take the issue up with Jagex in a bug report.
