Zuthra
Hello, I'm about to become a member and don't know what to do any advice? I would like to know what to buy, what to kill, and what to level. I would like to get the best armor and weapon right now I'm using a rune scimitar and rune full guthix. I'm thinking a godsword and barrows armor. I don't know anything about being a member so any help is appreciated :)
NotoriousPSC
Just walk around, do some quests, and get the feel of the new areas. Also, work on skills, Agility is very good in getting around. Right now the cheapest GS is 27m. Best way to make money is to hunt Tormented Demons (which you have to beat WGS to do), God Wars Dungeon, or to PK. Natures_Idol
What're your stats? First thing you should do is a couple of quests to get yourself used to the land and the different places really, after you've done a few you'll learn basic concepts. After that it's just down to you to try all the skills, but start with easy skills like fletching or hunter; because it's hard to tell your preference for skills until you've tried them all. Raisedbyapes
Gratz on becoming a member. I agree with the other posters. Do not worry about getting GWD or TD's under your belt yet. Walk around the new areas. Try some of the new skills. And do some quests. Also look at the new diaries that you have access to. Like one poster said about hunter. I did that at a low level. Because the money is good. And trust me a few extra million in the bank is a good thing. When you go to by a whip(when the hype is done) you will need money for that. Also doing quests that help you get around will make your life a lot easier.

Sinkhan
Doing a whole bunch of quests really is the best way to get acquainted with the new world. Quests were probably the best part of my emigration to members. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
Speedyshel
Welcome to members! It's, without a doubt, a much larger place to explore and you may very well find yourself using that trusty world map icon quite a bit. Doing some quests as mentioned by a few posters above is a great way to acquaint yourself, but also can eventually help you unlock new teleport areas for getting around quicker. Get yourself a Glory amulet, a games necklace, a duelling ring or two and that should help you get around a bit, too.If you've got any questions about members or need help getting around anywhere, you can PM me here in the forums by clicking the icon to the left beneath my name and I can help out in game if that would help. I can GIVE you some of these useful starting out items as a welcome to Members :) Just thought I'd offer it out there if you wanted. Hope you enjoy your stay :P - Speedyshel - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*
Bedkiller1
I would suggest you at least start with making your way up to the Lost City quest, and then continue slaying for cash and a bit higher combat level for godwars. ~Proud Mentor of the Runescape Elites~
Umoria
First make your way in some quests. Herblore needs a quest to start, and summoning needs a quest to start. Both are not hard or long.Work your way to Tears of Guthix quest so you can go to the cave once a week, collect the tears, and earn exp in your lowest skill at that moment. Then make sure you do Ghost Ahoy for ectophial. Quick one click teleport can save your cabbage :)Lost City for Zanaris slayer master. And then get the levels to do Fairy tale part 1, and part 2 untill the part you unlock fairy rings for quick transportation. For earning cash, do slayer. By far the best way to combine combat exp and money. In the beginning you don't get the best monsters, but every herbdropper yields good money nowadays :)Work your fishing level and magiclevel up for Swan Song quest. Monkfish is in high demand, and heals 16 hp ea. Easy to catch, more exp then sharks, and easier to cook. "We had gay burglars the other night. They broke in and rearranged the furniture."
