How is LSP split in teams.

If i were to duo dragon claws and my mate gets them.. He gets the claws and do i get half the dclaws value (15m) in lsp or the full value (30m)??

 

Also, is the lsp from lootshare drops med or low price of the item dropped?

proof would be appreciated but input is welcome.

 

I've always believed it was the items med price divided by people in the team, every1 gets their split but the person who recieved the drop gets the item instead..until revently ive been told otherwise

I think the actual coin split is at Low price, but the item is sold at med. So you'll receive lsp by the low price.

People always say that duo claws = 15M lsp, when, in reality, that makes negative sense. Unless someone shows me J Mod proof, I wont believe it. When you get a drop, it doesn't say "Your lootshare potential increased" like it normally does when you miss a drop. Have you ever seen this message?:

I say you'd get 30M-ish LSP from missing duo claws. Makes no sense to me otherwise. I remember someone said that a J Mod posted the answer on some forum section. Can anyone show me this?

That's if it is coinshare. In LS someone gets an item, everybody else gets LSP.

I've read somewhere that when a kill is made and the drop selected, the value of the item (mid / med doesn't make a difference) is split between each LSer equally first and added to their current LSP, and then the system decides which player gets the drop, then deducts the LSP he just received.

1. Does LootShare Go by 24hrs of Game-play or by each 24hr day go's bye?

 

Roughly speaking, 24hr day goes by.

Suppose I have 10000 lootshare points on Sunday.

The first time I log in on Monday, it'll be reduced by 10% to 9000.

The first time I log in on Tuesday, it'll be reduced by 10% to 8100.

Etc.

If I don't log in on Monday, the first time I log in on Tuesday it'll be reduced by 10% twice, taking it to 8100 immediately.

2. How Does CoinShare Effect you later on when you change to LootShare teams?

how does it count when you get a rare drop on CoinShare?

 

When an item is dropped...

... via lootshare, members of the group get lootshare points. One lucky person is given the item, and their lootshare points are reduced by its value.

... via coinshare, members of the group get coins. Their lootshare points are not affected.

3. Why Do Players with no Loot-Share normaly get the rare drop?

 

Each drop is *most likely* to go to the player with the highest number of lootshare points. However everyone in the group has a chance of getting every drop.

Let %X = value of items being dropped.

Let %N = number of people in the lootshare.

Each player gets (%X / %N) lootshare points.

One person then has %X lootshare points deducted from their total, and they get the drop.

6. If there really is negative LSP, is it only negative to an extent?

 

RuneScape's numbers always have caps if they try to go too high or too low.

 

We set the system to warn us if a player ever gets HALF-WAY to the maximum or minimum caps. These warnings haven't been coming up, so I'm pretty confident that no-one's ever gone anywhere near the caps.
