The Eastern Lands

When Ak-Haranu was created in Port Phasmatys years ago, there were numerous hints at the eastern lands, has there been any news on this in the last few years? There doesn't seem to have been any progress.

Guthix's rules don't apply to Zaros. The edicts were enacted at the end(they where the end) of the Godwars. Zaros was banished right before the Godwars and the territory Zaros left was the reason for the wars.

In the previous Content QA Jagex said that Prifddinas, Menaphos and Acheron will come before Eastern Lands. In other words, Eastern Lands will not come in a long time.

I'm fine with that, the other areas are more exciting to me any way. I don't understand the quote though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex kept the eastern lands in their back pocket as a back-up update they can pull out in a slow year.
