What's VAT?

 

To confirm if i got the calculations right:

1 dollar is 5 norwegian krones.

 

So 12 months single membership costs:

10 dollars x 12 = 120 dollars x 5 = 600 Norwegian krones

 

Where if you buy a year membership:

40 dollars x 5 = 200 Norwegian krones.

 

Did i get this right?

VAT = value added tax. Basically, it's the price with tax included.

Idk but its no mystery that this game is still marketed towards kids. Unlike what MMG has been saying #-o

 

 

im too lazy to quote the first post but its very common for them to lower prices if you buy for the year. Im surprised it took jagex this long tbh.

 

They've offered the year long ones for a while. The year cards are new though.One of the best reasons is that if they buy a year, then you got all that money in advance. If they bought every 3 months and for any reasons you quit, got banned, etc, then they wouldn't get as much money.

 

It's not immoral, just good business.
