January 29, 201016 yr Ok, I was looking to do lunar deplomacy and I have all the requirements except 61 crafting. Is 61 crafting even really required? And if it is, what is the cheapest way to do it? All the ways I have looked at are lose to 1m in cost, so what is a way to get it without spending so much? January 29, 201016 yr You need the crafting level during the quest. As a matter of fact, you can't even begin the quest without it. I have trained crafting through those levels mostly by making battlestaves, making the best level I could using a crafting potion if necessary. If you have the Varrock Armour from the achievement diary it helps greatly in the cost - the better the armour, the more staves you can buy at a reduced price from Zaff each day. Edit: The only orbs I made and charged myself were earth and air because of the location of the other 2 obelisks. Also, I high-alched them to recoup the gp - though they sell well on the GE. I'm sure there are quicker ways, though not necessarily inexpensive or without tedium (spinning flax, for example).
January 29, 201016 yr Even though it was pretty slow exp, I did the good 'ol method of making bowstrings. It took me about 10 hours total, if I remember correctly, and made about 2m getting to 61 :thumbup: [hide]99 Strength 99 Fletching 99 Range 99 Hitpoints 99 Attack99 Dungeoneering <3 99 Magic 99 Smithing 99 Herblore 99 ThevingSlayer Drops: 14 whips, 22 D boots, 27 Granite Mauls, 42 Effigies, 5 Dark Bows. What would be cool is if Drakan and his minions kill all the sig heroes in the quest except Raptor who is wrecking. You and him team up and cave in some vampyre heads. He becomes a total bro in future quests and in a GM quest he receives a fatal injury and his last dying words to you are "Brofist, mang"[/hide]

January 30, 201016 yr Try making battlestaves. Do your penguin points, and it will take you about 2 hours to get from 55 to 61 using them. It will cost somewheres around 200-400k, but it's worth it.
