I have seen the Zamorak Symbol portrayed as both something that looks like an "M" and something that looks like a "W" (both in-game and online in various guides).. so there seems to be some inconsistency. Do we know which is the correct way to display the symbol?

I would go by whatever is on the staff, which is a "W" I believe. Some people say it doesn't matter which way it is, but that's like saying an anti-Christ symbol is the same as a cross.

Zamorak is the god of chaso and therefore his symbol does not have a correct way up.

 

In-Game it is displayed in both the W and M form on various things (eg staff is W but mjnor is M)

 

@Guard Knox your logic is flawed there are many symbols that can be display multiple ways and have the same meaning. The Nazi one can be square or titled, as long as the tail bits go in the right direction its still the same symbol. Other symbols are more firmly rooted eg the Christian cross can only be one was up as it is meant to be the cross jesus was crucified on whihc was that shape and that way up

Hmm thanks you guys. I guess it's safe to assume that either way is acceptable.. so I'll settle on the "W" for what I'm doing ;)
