November 7, 200520 yr I'm sure most of you have heard Hung Up, the new Madonna song. If not go to www.madonna.com and the entire song will play, its not bad. Anyway I have heard it 3 times on the radio, each time I was with someone else. Each time I heard it the person I was with said the backround melody sounds like this NES game they knew. One went as far as to say it sounded like the game Astanax. Anyone agree or have any vague idea about what I'm talking about?
November 7, 200520 yr Do you mean the "dalaladeedalaladoooo" beat? It's actually from an old ABBA song. Heck, they could have ripped it from the NES but I doubt it :P I was reading about the original composer of the actual beat having it for a year, wondering what to do with it. So, selling it to the biggest woman in pop, yeah, not a bad choice! ;) This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
November 7, 200520 yr I believe the ABBA song was "Gimme Gimme (a man of the midnight)" It's actually a pretty good song, it's really grown on me (the Madonna song that is, i've always had my dad playing me ABBA throughout my childhood in the car). "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

I saw an ABBA tribute band a few years ago, they were really great. The blonde one was hot too ^_^ Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. November 7, 200520 yr Ah, thanks, my father and I were wondering from what it was! Now we've got it. :) Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

Not that they needed the money or anything... :P "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

It was a world wide hit a mere 4 years before the NES was released... That means Madonna didn't copy the music from the NES... the NES copied music from Madonna! :D Well sort of, but still I bet the Nintendo producers were influenced a little, I mean that tune just screams Megaman era gaming

Not that they needed the money or anything... :P I think it was even 1.2 billion pounds (or maybe that was just the amount in euros), but yeah that's true. And that money was supposedly just for *one* more live performance, wow. However they said they're not in it for the money, besides the fact that they would "disappoint the fans". I think it's a good choice too, they aren't really in the best condition right now and their public image would be really affected because they are all like 60 year old now.
November 8, 200520 yr I knew the tune was from ABBA right away when i first heard it... possibly because my dad likes ABBA? i don't think they are that good tbh, not my kinda music lol
