I am working on writting a 1 page long task about how internet has changed society, and here are some questions i hope you guys and girls can help me with.

 

1) TV - One-way communication (can't hurt asking, to be on the safe side)

2) Telegram, a old way of communicating, isn't it two-way communication? Just slow?

3) Radio - One-way communication?

4) Telephone - Two-way communication?

1) TV is generally one way communication I think.

2) Telegram is 2 way communication, and yes it's slow as they write everything out eg "Hello Sir Hemen STOP How are you today QUESTIONMARK"

3) Radio could be considered 2 way communication as people can ring in and request things like songs or enter competitions.

4) Definitely 2 way communication..... however if you're talking about mobiles then it can be more than 2 way I think.

Lol! "People can ring in", dude they ring in with mobile or telephone hehe :lol: Funny that you forgot they used telephone/mobile for the ringing. As for Bandos, we will see, i hope to become member and kill bosses.

Ah yea..... therefore radio *should* be considered 1 way communication then I guess :P Didn't know they were totally separate; however they can be all linked easily which is why I made the mistake ;)

 

And oooooh nice, I dare say the herby did cost alot. I'm currently trying to get 85 slayer and get 85 attack and strength at the same time :)

It sure is expensive, but not much can stop the spirit of the Warrior. Nice and balanced goals :twisted:

 

I am planning teaming these bosses with friends (It's just plan so chances are that some of them might not happen):

Saradomin

Bandos

Corporeal

 

Also gonna achieve my goal - Killing Jad 100% without prayer! Have done 2 attempts already and recorded them too.

If you are talking about commercial broadcast radio, I would say it is one-way communication.

 

However, radio can also refer to say CB Radio or the radios used by Amateur Radio operators, the military, sailors, taxi/ fleet drivers etc etc. Those are examples of 2-way communication. Indeed, unless scrambled in some way, the conversations conducted on such radio frequencies can be overheard or listened to by anyone (with the right equipment).

 

[Edit: In the latter situation, radio should be considered multi-way communication as it's often used for co-ordinating different field untis in some kind of directed network or under standard operating procedures.]

Radio, as mentioned above, is definitely two-way, unless you speak of commercial radio. Otherwise, I'd agree with everything you put.

 

Telegram isn't slow so much as it is inconvenient. That's why it's never used anymore. Who wants to know morse code just to tell your friend the math homework?

If it is an essay, it should be better off to have both points stated as an argument.

"This can be point 1 because of this but it really should be point 2 because of that." is better than "This is point 2 because of this".
