Hi all

I quit RS a few months ago and i'm thinking about playing again

But I see that there has been alot of updates, like the new prayers and a new slayer master.

I would appreciate it if someone could answer some questions :)

 

1. how good is the new master? does she give more xp/hour than duradel?

2. how good are the new prayers? Has these spells made slayer easier or anything like that?

3. are there any new items that a slayer these days must have?

and lastly 4. I've seen that Red H'ween Mask is no2 75Mish, how stable are they nowadays? Should I sell it and get new slayer gear instead?

1. Yes, faster xp and better tasks imo.

2. Yes, quite a lot better especially at 92/95+, not sure if they're any good at your level.

3. Nomad cape maybe, and not really items but 92/95 pray and ext pots help a lot too.

4. I'd sell it, slayer gear is more useful.

If you can afford them the drops from the new strykeworms will very useful for combat in general and slayer.

3 New items - the previous mentioned "Nomad Cape" he means Soulwars Cape, it beats firecape for prayer bonus so useful sometimes.

 

Also the new Styrkeworms drop Hexcrest and Focus Sight whihc are black mask equvilents for Mage and Ranged (both can be added to slayer helm)

The Ice strykeworms drop Staff of Light which is a pretty darn good mage item, probably rivals Masterwands for the title of the best.
