February 15, 201016 yr I'm looking to get 99 fishing. Currently, I'm F2P and will be getting members soon (Sometime this week hopefully D: )So, I'm going to be flyfishing at Barbarian Village until 79 fishing (When I deplete my supply of 24k feathers.) After this, what should I do to train to 99?-Fishing guild with lobsters?-Shilo's village with salmon/trout?-Swan Song place with Monkfish?
February 15, 201016 yr Fly fishing is basically the fastest way to trainbarbarian fly fishing is marginally better But i'm guessing since you'll be new to P2P you'll want some money in which case Rocktail fishing > Cavefishing > monkfishing for moneybarbarian fly fishing + shilo fly fishing + Rasolo fly fishing if you want raw experience, or if you intend to earn money elsewhere with the new stepping stone @ shilo, i'd say shilo is probably better than rasolo fly fishing now
February 15, 201016 yr IF you want to go crazy, you could fletch bolts or alch in between fish catches, or if you are doing Barbarian Heavy Rod Fishing (best way to train fishing outside the Living Rock Caverns), drop the fish. This does not slow you down. On the contrary, the makes things much quicker since you will waste no time dropping your fish or you will get tons of "free" magic and fletching xp (in terms of time). ~It's Super Effective! February 15, 201016 yr I cant read your font but id say living rock caves Noobs: We pay we sayJaGeX: How much will you pay?
February 15, 201016 yr Mck, you could click the "Quote" button and read it in normal font  But Living Rocks requirement is 85 I believe for Cavefish, and he's 79, so there's a little traditional training to do before then. Also, Living Rocks really necessitates the need of a familiar to help, be it a BoB or a Granite Lobster/Crab. If you are willing to invest that time (which I recommend, since you'll probably have to level summoning anyway), then consider Living Rock Caverns, if not, meh, maybe you shouldn't. ~It's Super Effective! February 15, 201016 yr The fastest method would be barb fly fishing using the heavy rod. You have to bring your own bait and make no proit whatsoever. This is because you have to drop the fish to get the fastest exp. I did this to get 99 fishing. Alternatively you can fish monkfish if you complete Swan Song, a quest. This makes you some decent cash and a reasonable exp rate. Sharks, tuna, swordfish all return bad exp rates although can bank them and earn some money on the side. February 15, 201016 yr Sharks, tuna, swordfish all return bad exp rates although can bank them and earn some money on the side. These are best if you're wanting to AFK and not pay too much attn to the game. Monks are about the same amount of attention, but are on par -if not higher- with sharks in terms of XP. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
February 15, 201016 yr If you don't mind waiting a little big longer than Barb fishing or fly fishing in Shilo, monks are a decent way to fish, being both more relaxing and making a little bit of money on the side. They're faster xp than sharks (unless you have shark gloves) btw.
