February 15, 201016 yr Hello, Tip. It. I have returned. Anyway, as you most likely don't remember, I switched between woodcutting, hunter, cooking, firemaking, and fishing. Then I stopped playing for a while... lost membership. I've recently started playing again. I'm currently in F2P Draynor chopping willows. I just got 73 WCing. I still have a bunch of stuff in my bank from members, stuff like drag boots, glory ammy, drag scim and ddp, etc. Stats in sig. I have 3.3 mil to blow. Plus items. It'd be nice to keep something like 300k of that, but I'll do whatever if it'll get me a 99. WCing is profitable...so is fishing...and hunter, which also helps range with chinches. FM and cooking? Not so much. What do? Edit: I'm currently getting mems. Might not have it for a few days, but will eventually... PM me for fitocracy invite
February 16, 201016 yr Get a 99 in a skill you enjoy, not one you want for the cape. >.>Exactly, too many people do it for the sake of getting a 99, dont be like that! Just have fun in the game, and a 99 will just pop up... ahaha
February 16, 201016 yr I'd go for fishing at Shilo Village, then cooking all the fish to raise your cooking level. This worked well for me, as I now have relatively high fishing and cooking levels. Remember to use cooking gauntlets! "Everything in moderation, including moderation." - Oscar Wilde

Remember to use cooking gauntlets!1. Trout and salmon are weak for training fishing2. Trout and salmon are weak for training cooking3. Trout and salmon are not affected by cooking gauntlets Anyway, if you do go for fishing, rocktails are probably going to be your best bet. If you do woodcutting (which isn't very profitable btw), ivy is the most popular method, but I'm told the sawmill training is actually faster. Chinchompas are still the biggest method with hunter, although grenwalls have gained viability in the past few months with the herblore update making their spikes valuable. February 16, 201016 yr You could try woodcutting. If you get the diary for Seer's/Camelot area, you can get a reward that gives you a chance of getting two maple logs I think. Sort of like the Varrock Armor does for mining. Make you enjoy the skill though, don't want to think of it as a chore. I will tell you, if you go about it like that, you will be disappointed when you do get 99. But if you have fun along the way it will be fun when you get 99 too.
