what should i high alch?

Im currently fishing cavefish and have worked out once i get 90 fishing ill have about 8 million gp, 3 of which will go towards living material for 99 fishing. That means ill have 5 million which i want to dedicate to magic. Everyone has been telling me to high alch but i have never done it. People have suggested that i use that high alch calculator but i cant decide whats best to use. From experience what do people use when high alching. What will my 5 million buy me in alching experience? Id need the to buy the items and the nat runes. Thanks from an alching novice :)

People tend to buy yew longbows. They always sell and buy.

When you use the calculator, you can see how much exp you get. 5 million will buy you like, 7032 bows.

 

I just take 7032 bows as an example.

You get:

5.4 mil money (not included nature runes)

457080 magic exp.

I did yew/magic longbows from 70ish to 92, but I made them myself - I think they are still good if you buy them, but I'm not sure if there are any better things to hi alch

The only thing you are looking for is slight profit, break even, or little loss.

7K casts is the same, whether you use it on a ball of wool, or on a rune full helmet.

 

Offcourse there are better things to alch, but you won't get your hands on it in bulk.

Buy yew longs in ge, or make the magic longs yourself.

Just a recommendation though, don't try to do all the alching at once because you will burn yourself out. I also recommend to keep doing farming runs while you do it and raise a summoning pet because that's a lot of time doing a low-attention activity not warranting a summoning familiar :thumbup: . why not try doing dragonhides for the crafting exp. i did blue dragonhide to 70 magic.
