Karils vs Black d'hide

Ok so i have 28m as i decided just to wait until i have the charms for 88 summoning to train it. Is it worth it to buy karils over black d'hide for Abby specs and Waterfiends? I also bought a z spear as i heard its best to use at waterfiends and tasks where stab/crush does major damage is this true?

Karils is well worth it. However abby specs you'll struggle tanking with it I guess. So I'd stick with cannoning them in the CT. ZSpear is one of the most epic crush and stab weapons in the game.

Use it on stab on Aquanites if you ever get them. Crush on WF's. And then if you can use super antifires at any point stab metal dragons...... Oh and if you're ever interested - Corp.

Karils is superior magic defense compared to black hide.

 

It is more useful in all situations if you are only being hit by magic attacks

I only use either Void or Karil's at WFS. It you have the money, go for it. If you don't want it later, then just sell it back. But it will really help out your defence against them.

 

And technically Saradomin Sword is better than Zamorakian Spear, but it's very close :P Your ZS will work great.

To me they're about even..... Sup Set etc. I don't piety them atm, as I don't have a unicorn. But still..... SS has less crush bonus so I'd have thought that would get in the way? Or is it the fact that it has an epic str bonus?

They have similar crush offensive bonuses (yes, ZS is slightly higher), however, the strength bonus from the Saradomin Sword has been proven to be more effective against WFS. But, there really isn't that much of a difference, but nonetheless, there is one still :P

Anyways Skylor, go with whatever you can afford atm what with wanting to get 88 summmoning. Krails and ZS are certainly worth it.
