March 9, 201016 yr Hi, I've been doing slayer lately and I noticed that my max hit (in Kuradals cave for example) is ~570 with almost maxed out gear + 99 str + piety + extremes. At the same time, my friend swears he can hit ~570's without extremes+same gear+piety+ 99 str Our gear is the following:Full Slayer HelmetFuryFire CapeBandos ChestplateDragonfire ShieldWhipFerocious RingBandos TassetsDragon Boots As I mentioned, both using piety. The difference is that I'm using extreme pots and he is using super pots. I have been using extremes for a few weeks and been pietying a lot. Not once have I seen anything higher than 57 (going by the old update). I am certainly giving my friend the benefit of the doubt and assuming that he is not lying. He is a great friend and I know him well enough to believe him. So what is going on? Is my max hit really that low or is there something wrong? For the record, I also tried tip.it's max hit calculator and it came up as 53 (added +4 for fero). So does this really mean that he isn't telling the truth? I refuse to believe so.
March 9, 201016 yr I can hit 590s with 98 str and this set up: Slayer helmFuryWhipSW capeBandos ChestplateVerac SkirtRune defenderFerocious RingDragon boots Overloads (so same as extremes, but I'm always at my max str lvl :-)) This is with turmoil however, at dark beasts (+ 32 % str). Of course this doesnt say anything, since you guys piety, but I would THINK with your maxed str outfit, and fero ring, 570s could be possible without extremes. " Source here, of course once again that's with Turmoil, not Piety...I think it's higher, I hit a 608 with 98 str on ice wyrms with verac armour, rune def, whip, fire cape, berserker, slayer helm etc. edit: just hit a 600 on a dark beast with max str BUT fury, v skirt and sw cape and rune defender (so with dfs, tassets and fire cape, and one more str lvl, that should be much more than just 10 higher) A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
March 10, 201016 yr Max hits really got beserk seems... Just hit a 282 on a Gargoyle with Fire Bolt... Was at 98/92 mage. So had 48% mage damage boost. Even adding the ferocious +40 before applying the 48% should be *only* 281.2 :shock:
