Death123141
I recently got a graphics card an a wide HD monitor for my birthday and I loaded the graphics card(it had two ports) and put the HD monitor into the graphics card and put my normal monitor into the port already in the computer but the other monitor isn't working do I have to put it into the other port in the graphics card? Or is there something else I have to do?

Quorra
Right click and go to screen resolution or something and look for a thing to enable the 2nd monitor
Sy_Accursed
Usually they should enabled themselves and u won't have to enable stuff. Odds are your graphics card has turned off the onboard gpu (eg the port ur 2nd monitor is plugged into) Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Quorra
I don't think you can have both enabled at the same time, I have both my monitors plugged into the GPU not 1 in GPU & 1 onboard.
dsavi
I've seen a netbook play a game on a full HD monitor, so with a modern dedicated GPU there should be absolutely no problem. Here's a guide, I think the first Google result for it, should work as good as any. http://skattertech.com/2008/04/setup-multiple-monitors-in-vista/ (Changed that link, the first guide I posted only applied to laptops) Edited March 23, 2010 by dsavi_x4
