Ezkaton
Extremes...... Extremes..... hmm, to get or not to get which is the question really. After reading what Aeil said about extremes in DemonicSushi's topic I'm back considering getting them again <.< It's really annoying me because I'll go through phases where I'm all "oh they're pointless" but then someone will say something and I'll be all "emg I wants". Anyways, are they REALLY worth it? And I mean REAAAAAAALY worth it. Yes? No? Maybe? And I currently have a DFS in my bank and another ~35m in cash and assets that I can afford to sell totalling I'd say what? 60-70M? Is this enough to get me to whatever level I need for things like extremes? Or the level I need to greenmans ale them? Thanks. Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D
Bladewing
Extremes are very good. A DFS is not. If you don't want to spend money, clean herbs. It can get to about 100k xp/hour with profits. I don't think you can get to 88 on 70m without cleaning, though. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
Aiel
I'll post this here too just so people dont spend awhile looking for said post: For this scenario it is being assumed you have average slayer gear for your level, and it is being assumed you hit your max hit every time (max hit and average hit are comparable), the effects of super antifire and extreme attacks are also being ignored. It is also being assumed that you are constantly attacking something. As you said you dont use Kuradal, the effects of the Ferocious ring will be ignored. Given:A whip, dragon claws and a dragon dagger all hit once every ~2.4 seconds, which is equal to 125 hits every 5 minutesYour max hit with a whip is 352 with super strengthsYour max hit with dragon claws and super strengths is 290-145-82-72=589.Your max hit with a whip and extreme strengths is 371.Your max hit with a DDS and extreme strengths is 324x2. Therefore per special bar with super strengths+dragon claws, you deal a max of 43296(whip)+1168(claws)=44474 per special bar. Per special bar with extreme strengths+dragon dagger, you deal a max of 44891(whip)+2592(dagger)=47483 per special bar. even without the accuracy boost, and sped up dragons tasks, you deal a maximum of 3009 more damage per special bar with extremes  based off of SoSolidClaws stats and dboots+glory+b gloves+whip/dds+rune defender/claws+slayer helm, no other strength bonuses. OT: I believe it costs about 70m from 72 making super attacks, but there's cheaper methods. Use this Wiki page or Grimy's Herblore to calculate GP/XP and speed. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). I was always thinking about doing this: however everyone is always "neeeeer, watch the GE, WATCH THE GE D: IT COULD IMPLODE ANY SECOND AND YOU COULD LOSE GAZILLIONS?!?!?!?!" And I've been all "ooooooh k. wont do it then as I cba watching it". Does it ever alter that drastically? anonymouse_
You should max out before getting them...feels like a waste to be using them with stats in the 80s since the difference between supers and extremes is much smaller

Clean-x would make all the current benefits of cleaning herbs disappear. The only reason you can sometimes make 2m+/hour plus 100k herb xp is because people are too lazy to figure out how to clean them quickly. Considering it only takes an income of 1m/hour to justify super energy/recover special over nightshades (which by the way is unfathomably easy to do), there's still NO reason to do nightshades, since it is more afk than nightshades. I do agree though that if he wants the lvls anytime soon he should clean herbs, or throw some millions and do super energy and spec restore. I actually use my spec restores pretty often so it wouldn't be that big of a waste. A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
