March 31, 201016 yr So I started Desert Treasure around 2 weeks ago (121 combat and still not completed it, I know it's bad), I got through the introduction, so I'm now onto getting each of the four diamonds, I can't remember which diamond it was, but I had to open a chest in the bandit camp, but at 56 thieving I kept failing. Honestly, I must have tried over 50 times. At one point I just took a full inventory of lock-picks and still failed every attempt :/ Any tips? Should I get higher thieving? March 31, 201016 yr Higher thieving helps. I tried it at base level, and needed 3 inventories full of lock picks. It was one of the mot annoying parts of the quest.. Be prepared to fail at the piramid a lot as well. I got lucky and got through in 1 go, but i heard of people banging their head in frustration similar to the hand holds in MEP2. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
