i dont see any use either if you have to leave for 20 min. then just logg out ot somthing

they could use like a frease option were you enter a screen simular to the welcome screen. this option would give you 3 minets to log back in with just you pass and also when you renter your pin is still set. it could give a warning with ethor a popup or a sound message 60 seconds befor it logs u you out. this way you can look at other sites safely. 3 minets is not enough time to find someones pass with a keylogger so people will still be safe

I Dont like this idea, simply because of autoers, BUT, i would like it for the time to be a little longer, I mean like when im ranging something that takes a while to kill, lets use a black dragon as my example, Besides just sitting there, watching your screen waiting for it to die, I usualy do something like Homework while i wait, But i hate it when it after 30 seconds or so it auto logs you out. Why cant it be like in RSC when it would take 5 minutes to log you out * i think it was 5 minutes*

Two points raised there which I think are worth noting. Extending the time a bit I'd agree with. Maybe not 5 minutes as it used to (to avoid randoms if anything) but more than whatever it is now.

auto logout is to protect you. If it got removed, people would leave their accounts logged in, and the influx of complaints to jagex about hacked accounts or random events killing you would be enormous. Its happened to me once and it logs out at about 30 seconds atm!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think it should be extended to about 2 minutes. I also think that they could change a couple of things, like retaining the training method you were using, the run/walk setting, and perhaps reatining your username but not your password, as someone has suggested. I have no idea how feasable these suggestions are, so i may be looking like a complete fool, but hey, if they could do this, it would be nice

Any random event which results in a fight, keeps u logged in like any fight does, an anti-anti-AFK-autoing measure; just for those ppl who think the autolog will save them. Login will last as long as the fight does, whatever the outcome. Get lucky or get Lumby.
