Well, my current fishing level is 88. I'm fishing monkfish as they catch as fast as lobs, and at the time being are worth 600+ ea, so it's decent money :)

 

I've been told that fishing rocktail at level 90 fishing is the best thing to,do if you wanna go for 99 fishing. ie. Better xp and better money. Any help and advice? I plan to fish solid to 99 fishing now. Been dying for a skill cape since they came out, it's about time i got one :)

Rocktail for money and XP, Barb fishing if you only care about maximum XP. But rocktail are pretty close and a lot more lucrative.

 

Buy living minerals when they are in a valley price-wise; they go up and down.

 

Fishing rocktail using admiral pies is effective -- bring a bunch, fish rocktail until they are used up, then bank or switch to cavefish for a while.

I did monks to 85 Caves to 90 and rocks to 95, close to 96 atm aswell

Rocktail catch at about 120 per hour, They average 45-48k xp per hour from what I found. I would for sure go with Rocktail at 90-99.

How about monsters wandering around, cause in long term they can be annoying. Is there any special world dedicated for fish in caves maybe - mean unoficial one ?

120 an hour for rocktail is a bit optimistic.

 

I prefer world 2 for the LRC... lots of people means less chance of being targeted.

World 84 is the unofficial LRC world.

At any given point during the day ~200-800+ people are in the cave area.

I would go to 84 if you are serious about Rocktail fishing.

Yea Amp is right, world 84 is crazy busy. I was there the other day and the lag in some parts of the cave is ridiculous. Although it's nice because the monsters won't always attack you because there more people. Just bring some good armour and you should be alright.
