April 6, 201016 yr Ok, Well I have the funds for 85 herblore now. (I know, no extreme defense =X ) - Whats the best potion to make? I'm looking for best gp/xp with good experience. I'm hoping for between 23-27 gp/xp (unless it's gotten cheaper...) - Would it be best to switch over to spec restores at 84? or 83 with ales... Why does everyone do these? They are like 31 gp/xp... - Would it be wise to make super energies then make spec restores from them? Off Topic Questions... - I plan on soloing a lot of bandos after this.. April 6, 201016 yr Up to 84 you're best off doing 207's as harralander tars are really unstable. I guess you could also try s energy, as those were decent when I was doing herb. After 84 do spec restores, they're cheaper then anything else of comparable speed.

Thats why I'm getting 85, I can boost to extreme attack and strength. I have like 100 of the spice I need for boosting herb, and +4 boost is very common. Up to 84 you're best off doing 207's as harralander tars are really unstable. I guess you could also try s energy, as those were decent when I was doing herb. April 6, 201016 yr As I haven't played in a while I can't comment on exp/gp ratios. However as far as time goes I would highly recommend making special recoveries at 84. If you are going to just 85 for the time being thats only one level of them which shouldn't cost you to much anyway. Depending on your patience levels making your own super energies for the spec res would be a good idea, even if you only made the amount that was needed for the spec res. Making super defence potions worked pretty well for me up to 84. They may be worth under 1k each but I'm pretty sure they do still sell, maybe look into those to.
April 6, 201016 yr Is cleaning herbs not an option for you or something? :? Bought, cleaned, and sold in under 15 minutes the other evening. Was about 105k XP/hour and 1.4M profit/hour. I don't use mousekeys.
April 6, 201016 yr You cleaned 2k herbs in 15 mins Muggi? O.O I average about 8.5k/hour... I just click w/ my laptop mouse buttons and move the pointer w/ my external mouse since the laptop touch pad sucks. This way, the herbs never drag and they get cleaned as fast as I move the pointer across them. My wrists never feel any discomfort either since I'm simply moving the mouse around.

I was averaging 10k herbs/ hr =P Bow down to you to then :P 30m, and your only doing 5 levels? Range pots 80-84, spec res 84-85. Get it done in around 90-100 minutes I reckon. Should also blow the majority of that cash :D

April 7, 201016 yr Mage pots would be best. They are more xp and cheaper than range pots, and yes they do sell.Probably the only reason they sell is because extreme mages are so cheap. And fwiw, I just bought enough supplies for 85-92 herb at ~29gp/exp (spec restores) as super energy was selling close to min earlier today and papayas were selling close to min yesterday (probably even cheaper now if they keep dropping).
