I have been watching the bss for quite a while now, and i was wondering what is causing it to stair step on the graph? and also, what do you guys think it will stabalise out at?

it stair steps because it can only update every X number of updates. it'll probably stablise at around 5m.

It's an awesome shield that's pretty rare. IT's at a good price now, so I'd buy it. It's like a mini DFS, and with DFS being stable at 30M+, I can only see BSS stabilizing at a little under 10M.

so would it be a good investment even if i only have 7m?

Absolutely not, lol. An abyssal whip would be a far better investment.

It's a dragon square shield with a humongous crush defence bonus, and few extra defence points in the rest of its stats. Unless you're killing giants, I can't see how it's going to help you. You might say it justifies its price due to the prayer bonus, but if you're going to pray while fighting, you might as well take a Prayer book.

I s'pose it's going down in price because the corporeal beast is going up in popularity, and holy elixirs (which are used to bless the shield) are not an uncommon drop.

Depends what you use it for. I think it sucks. I bought it, but it is terrible. For solo bandos, obby shield is better. Your praying melee, so melee bonuses are not needed. obby has 13 more range. It all depends where you use it. I'm selling mine tomorrow.

It's mainly good because it doesn't reduce your magic/range offense. Quite expensive though. It's not exactly highly popular either, not the same sort of bragging rights that seem to come with bandos and the like.

It's great if you're ranging/maging and you have to tank. I use it to ranged/mage slay.
