Smithing?

Hey Guys,

 

I currently have smithing 76 and would like it to be 80 or 85 something around that..

What are the best methods nowadays? Fast and not toooooo expensive.. Got some money and stuff I could sell but don't want to spend it all on it.

Any options with minigames or something? Or new tricks?

Yeah, I did addy arrowtips from 75-88 and then addy plates from 88-99, all with sc hammers. So, if you don't want to lose a ton of cash, i'd say get about 20-30 sc hammers, go make mith/addy bars at the blast furnace, smith them into arrowtips, and then rinse and repeat. Should be 6 or 7 gp/xp, hopefully.

 

Or as Chuz suggested, use goldsmithing gauntlets and smith gold ore into bars, and then the bars into ammies. However, I wouldn't suggest doing this due to recent nerfing to the trader at the end of Summer's End who used to buy all jewellery for minimum GE price, which used to cause an easy dump method, but does not anymore. This is causing gold and all related items to be a bit erratic.

 

So i'd go ahead with mith/addy arrowtips with sc hammers and the blast furnace (if you're really stretched for cash).

Blast Furnace is a waste of time. The only worthwhile options are:

 

Highest platebody you can make with SC hammers.

Superheating gold ore while smithing gold ore, with gauntlets.

Superheating gold ore while mining concentrated gold, with gauntlets.
