The main limiter seems to be my connection and unwillingness to spend money.

Ever heard that saying "you gotta spend money to make money?". Well some guy was trying to make more than 500k gp/hr when he thought of it. I'd suggest investing in skills to make a return in moneymaking. Sorta how I invested in ranged to make money back monster hunting.

Training your melee stat's your favorite way, or picking a productive 99 skill to get. I made 50m+ off of fishing. Hunter, mining, fishing, ect are all examples. The rule of thumb though is if you want to make money you'll have to give some effort. If there was a way for me to sit back and watch cash flow in (other than merchanting, which I fail at) then I'd be a rich mofo. I suggest doing Mtk and picking a skill you enjoy that way your stats will reflect your choice of money making. Hope I helped in some way.

When i think of steady cashflow, i think of MTK, it doesn't require alot of effort and you can do other stuff while it goes.

I realize that you need to put in some effort.

 

I appreciate your style of posting and your constructive advice. I'm aiming for boss hunting in the long run and it is something I want to aim for.

Find an item that is high volume, high volatility through-out-the-day. Raw Materials are good. Flip it in 4 hours. Rinse, Repeat.

 

Should net you 200k-800k every four hours for 2 minutes work.

How would I go about flipping? I know nothing about merching except pyramid scams.
