Charm gathering

Featured Replies

At the min im currently 89 summoning and going for 96 by the end of may.

Im 99 att and strength, 97 mage, 89 herby a bank which includes battle robes, full void all sets, an sol, and a zam spear. with enough cash on the side.

Which would be the better method of charm collection, barrageing rock lobsters? or ancient cavern fiends?

Im currently killing fiends, full void, piety, extremes and a pony and manageing 100 ish crims per hour, is this normal? Or should I look to change my gear?

Just wondering what the best way of procureing the final 12k crims would be...

Thanks for any help people can offer!

With your stats, defensive barrage with battle robes all the way. Its close to 200 crimsons per hour with proper luring, plus all the other charms you get.

As long as money is not an issue, than barraging is almost always faster than any other method of getting charms. The only other reason that people don't want to barrage is because of money issues.

Barrage till 95 summ, after that go to CT fiends and use the iron titan there, at your stats you should get 160+ crims an hour easily + it's free, or you may even profit.

What mujammil suggested and don't forget to use your weekly Familiarisation! The D&D is easy as hell (got the max reward on first attempt) and gives a very nice boosts to your charmcount, especially if you're gathering them and not just slaying or something.

Ok so barrageing would be better than the spear at fiends im currently doing for a free 100 per hour? Does anyone have a rough figure for crims per hour barraging? Worth bringing extreme magic's?

Thanks haddn't even though to use the d+d. Ty for the tip!

220 crimsons of xp if you barrage lobsters.

You actually get less than 220 crimsons, but if you count the xp you get from blues, golds, and greens, you get 220 crimsons worth of xp.

How many crimsons, on their own, do you get?

How many would you get bursting, too? (sorreh for hijack)

Drops: Black Mask.

Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff.

About 160-170 crimsons.

Bursting is a little less, although all of this was before the whole +10% magic damage stuff, which would needless to say, increase your crim/hour rate.
