  1. Not even going to try to convince you of the opposite or start a discussion about that, because that wouldn't belong in this topic and from your last sentence, it's pretty clear to me that it wouldn't make a difference anyway. All I can say is that I've been plenty to both DKS and TDS with a rapier, a CLS and duo trips with one person CLS and one person rapier and I can tell you that I certainly had the upperhand in terms of kills, certainly because I still kept my Pernix top on @ DKS and he switched to Bandos Chestplate. Supreme's immense weakness to Slash makes it very vurnable to CLS with overloads and turmoil. And no offence, but if you're planning to argument with "sorry try again", you should really consider if you belong in an serious discussing board Metagame is...
  2. At least some rocks are changed, I can recall that: The rocks @ Ardougne Bear mine
  3. Damnit, J35u5 beated me to it, but gratz, it's a very nice/funny achievment! :D
  4. I got my chaotic weapons as CLS > CCB > CM > Rigour > CR > CS and never regretted the choice, simply because I knew for what I was choosing. I already had 99 slayer at the time Dungeoneering came out and I was mostly bosshunting DKS and TDS, where at TDS a CLS is nice to have in combination with steel titan and scrolls in Neitiznot (although void with cmaul isn't that bad either) and @ DKS the CLS is comparable to the rapier, certainly when you cannon Prime while you slay Supreme, since the cannon benifits from the higher bonusses of the longsword. Also, at Saradomin Godwars, I noticed that, even in duo, the CLS outhits the maul by far. Still, there is no discussion possible wether the rapier is the best -general- weapon to buy first, because it simply is, but if you know for what you're going to use the weapons, you can adjust the buying sequence :)
  5. I was wondering if a Saggitarian Long/Shortbow with Saggi Arrows should be considered as a 3th bind, since you can still use that bow against Necrolord/Mages/Demons
  6. I bought my CLS first and I didn't regret it, since I already had 99 slayer anyway and I used CLS for TDS and DKS. Yes, I use it for slayer too, but that wasn't my priority, so I'm happy with it ^_^ PS: Dungeoneering is fun anyway and if you invest some time, you can get a decent stack of tokens very fast, which gives you a 2nd chaotic weapon in like what, 1 week? Just get them both and everyone is happy :D
  7. What are you exactly doing @ DKS? Because Spectral ain't thát bad over there after all: you're wearing melee armour (ranged defence), so you could use some mage defence against the spinolyps. Even more; a SSS doesn't give any negative mage or range attack bonusses and you get more prayer bonus. Although you need to sacrifice some strength bonus and a bit of melee and ranged defence bonusses for that, I think you'll do fine with a spectral, certainly if you combine it with doing Armadyl trips.
  8. I think I actually do get your point. I'm hoping to be able to buy a Divine spirit shield one day myself, but when I think about getting the money. I just get discouraged. Runescape was and is a MMORPG and in a RPG, skills and experience matter to gain money, wether it is through skilling or monster-hunting. But nowadays, earning the big money hardly requires any (trainable) skills at all. This wouldn't be a problem at all, was it not that the economy seems to be based on those high gains of money, seeing the prices of some more elusive items, as Zaros Armour, Spirit Shields and if you want you can include rares. From that perspective I do hold the update of 1 February responsible for at least a fair share of that. The return of staking brought immense cash gains/losts with it and the total freedom of the Grand Exchange made it possible for normal people without junk, from who other normal people could buy expensive items without junk, to sell there expensive items at a much higher price, thus making it for the normal lads even more impossible to buy those things, since the classic moneymaking methods just don't suffice anymore to gain the money. It makes me a sad panda
  9. Hmmm, is it possible atm to upgrade my Elysian to a Divine? And what would be required for that? Also, does anyone have any ideas on how much they will differ in price after free trade comes out?
  10. Elysian updated again and RSOF is spoiled with Ely-sellers. Guess they'll be tradeable soon, but I'll keep mine anyway, they're just ownage shields! <3
  11. If I want to hear the new combatsounds, I'll go to my girlfriend rather than playing Runescape tbh. Also, fail @ PvP Glitch. I know it's hard to make an update without any bugs, but this size of bugs is just too big to negate and I'm not even a PvP'er =/
  12. I completed the quest now too and I have to admit that it was kinda disappointing... The puzzles are OK, but not THAT challenging, there isn't much of a story involved in the quest (you only get to know who released the pest, woo-hoo!) and the boss is somewhat challenging, but nothing compared to Nomad. Don't get me wrong, the quest isn't BAD, but it doesn't deserve the label of GrandMaster Quest imho, although the requirments are, indeed, very high. Now onto getting another 50 Commodations to upgrade my Void Legs
  13. What am I doing so wrong that I take like infinite damage @ the 4 void creatures and don't seem to hit them at all...
  14. Hmm, looks like the solo screens are down
  15. Speaking of hilts, they seem to go down quite nicely these last days. Summer holiday starting?
