Need help with PKing

I am going PKing today, i have a whip, which i will use, i won't use my regular armour due to the possibility of losing it, im using a bounty +1 world, have a 5 mil budget and am on ancient magicks, stats:

attack 80, strength, 78, defense, 74, magic 63, ranged 65,

what should i bring and any good strategies?

i would not even step into a pvp world with those stats tbh.

70prayer and 78 def with higher str would be nice.

Today most of the people in PvP or BH are Pures (1 Defence, Zerker, Range Tanks...etc)

Right around your level is a ton of maxed-ish zerker pures.

At least get 70 prayer.

I would advise against +1 worlds. You'd get rushed so much with claws/ags.

You can pk, but you'd be at a significant disadvantage.

Pures are easy to kill, you seriously overestimate them, i could even kill them with ice rush alone.

It's relatively easy to kill a pure. Trouble is, it's even easier for them to kill you.

(Compared to an opponent with more defense but less damage potential.)

Either way, PKing has evolved to such a state it isn't for the faint of heart anymore. Never bring what you're not prepared to lose. It only takes a split second to lose it all if you're not careful. It's best to get some quick reflexes, a good connection and a bit of luck wouldn't be bad either.

 

Your mage is far too low to be a serious threat to actual PKers....either increase it or don't use it.

There's nothing wrong with your melee stats but when dealing with SW/PC products who have insanely high offensive capabilities for their level, you will be facing a challenge, if not death.

 

That's my opinion of it anyways. I don't pk anymore; used to back in the day where there was a wilderness. The game has changed and I can't adapt :(
