Range training? Dwogres/Black Drags

Well i've been at 96 range for awhile and have been looking for a way to 99 range by afking and getting cash at the same time so i've picked 2 things to do ( i know not the best but ah w/e)

 

Black dragons where i can shoot a dragon then watch a vid on my computer for a good minute before having to loot/ shoot another drag to repeat. ( pretty easy and not to annoying)

 

Or Chaos Dwogres. I've done these a few times and know that with pray i can afk them so i don't think itd be a biggie. What i had in mind for these was to find an empty world and shoot each dwogre then watch my movie until i hear myself stop attacking, after that id just pick up drops and repeat.

 

I heard that dragon pick drops from them are about 1/750-1/1000 (only gotten picks from cannoneers, never dwogres.) so it could be pretty good money made by the time i get 99 range.

 

Anybody got any ideas on which might be better?

I don't know much about the methods you are using now but when I want to train range without paying attention I just go aviansies. It's great profit and probably faster exp then those methods. There is a guide on it in the AoW. I suggest a tanking build if you are going to semi AFK.

Yea done aviansies a bunch but i just hate having to click every minute after a kill. Atm im just using my good old crystal bow ( have like 10 from when first came out) and range potting when reach 103- in range.

 

(atm getting about 50-60Kxp an hour when contin. potting. I have 2K range ptos so i can keep my range at 107+ if have to the full time lol

You could do the prayer method and just do what you're doing with the dwarves. Just boost up prayer and prot range and shoot at several and loot when done killing.

I was in the same boat awhile back and did various things for ranging.. Fire Giants, Avi's, Caged Ogres and Tzhaar were my main spots.

 

In the end I found myself just killing Tzhaar creatures the most.. I made a decent profit, nothing extraordinary, and it was rather afk'able. I believe I did 96-99 there and it took me a month give or take maybe 3 weeks and a few days.

 

It's not the best, but it got me through the levels. I did black and blue dragons as well for a little to break from Tzhaar. Go kill 100 black or 300 blues and then go back to Tzhaar.
