Hmmm, my stats are pretty similar to yours, yet a lot of people ive talked to have suggested i wait until i have 75+ melee (and range) stats before attempting barrows. Maybe train a bit so you can do a run more effeciently?

Maybe train a bit so you can do a run more effeciently? Well i usually just go their with 8 shark and a bunch of prey pots and do two runs everytime im their, i think your friends mistaken lol
May 10, 201016 yr Possibly ;) But i think they refer to speed rather than equipment used. Also, as far as im aware, some of my friends take 1 prayer pot, and high prayer boosting armour, and are able complete at least 1 trip w/ that.
May 10, 201016 yr I would not call my self a "master" of barrows, but I did it A LOT. Sometime you get really lucky. Drops every chest, or double drops. However, you will hit a dry run that happens to everyone. right now...Im on a 124 dry run... <_< It just happens. May 10, 201016 yr This happens to everybody. Be patient and don't whine to us about it. I've killed thousands of metal dragons and NEVER got a visage, but am I complaining? No. That's just a part of the game and the way life is.

May 10, 201016 yr I have Att 64 Str 65 Def 63 Range 61 Prayer 56 (using ooglog totals 63 points) Hp 64 Magic 64Hardly ideal stats for barrows, but a run replaces my runes (plus a little) and a lucky drop could refund a good portion of my food. It's not that hard a minigame, and one of the fun parts of runescape.Most monster hunting doesn't quickly get you something good. Have fun playing the minigame. Ummmmmm.....................Not much to say. If you want to find me in Runescape, my name is not applyapple. It is vetoscadiva. Complain as you like about Jagex, but think about what they've done. How many MMORPG designers go around to creating as complex an in-game world as Jagex? They do need to get around to making a equipable knife, though. With everyone's complaining about updates, it's amzing that there isn't a forum topic on the fact that the chat box says "You can't reach that" (as opposed to "I can't reach that!").
