i never did the familiarisation minigame, but since i heard theres a quadruple charm drop reward and im in need of some charms fast atm, i wondered if it would be a good idea to do the minigame and go burst some rocklobs?

so a few questions:

- is it worth it?

- how hard is it to get the max duration of this quadruple charms thing?

- does these 40mins also count when ur logged out or in the lobby?

I did it yesterday for the first time and its definitely worth it.

 

Use the cc "obelisk chat" to find an active obelisk or find one for youself.

I killed waterfiends.. and got about 220 crimson and also other charms in 40 minutes. But to note i had them as a task and also used Extreme pots.. Piety/Tumoil might be worth it, ill try that next week.

Use the infinite run pool in Oo'glog first; it cuts the time in 1/3. Also, it's only triple charms, not quadruple.

Yes. If you don't waste your time finding a world (use the cc mentioned above) and use the pool at Ooglog it will take less than 10 minutes to complete the D&D.

It is triple not quadruple. If you use the pool it is very easy to get the max 60 shards (even if you don't it is still very possible). You don't need to bother with the familiars hunting you as you will be done very quickly.

No.

I'd reccomend against bursting lobs with your triple charms. You lose heaps of that time getting there, plus waterfiends give more bang for the buck.

 

Unless there's a way to get there fast and your income's fairly high, wfs with triple are the best.

btw how many times can this minigame thing be done? 1s a week, 1s a day, couple times a day?

 

and the tip.it site states that u can cash in ur rewards @ the summ master, can this be done with the contact spell on lunar?

Use ice barrage there since you need to kill as many lobsters as possible for the 40 minute period. Every time I do it, I gear up for rock lobs once I'm ready to cash in my reward at pikkupstix, and then I have a friend teleother us immediately to waterbirth so I waste as little time as possible.
