99 mining and LRC

Featured Replies

Can a pro miner give me the skinny on what i need to know for LRC mining?

Like gear, what nodes to use whatever.

Im going for 99 mining and i could use the leet infoz.

Is there a certain circuit you follow? what tricks do pro miners use?

If ya mining in there on your own (eg not on the world with huge swarms) this map covers it:

(used tip.its one and cropped etc)

Follow those run routes will get you into safe spot 99/100 times, other routes you have high chance of picking up a striker who can still hit you while ur in safe spot. Especially on the northern two.

Blue is gold rocks, safespots for both are tucked in to the east end of the rock.

Green is coal, safe spot is east for north one and north for south one.

For max mining xp take a bob and just run bk n forth banking, swap rocks as one collapses its very rare for both to collapses at once and if both do you can fill in time on coal (north one gd as u can see gold rock)

A mix of range n melee armour keeps u alive, run energy isnt a huge issue. My personal setup is:

Verac helm, karil body, torag legs, obby shield, d pick, skill cape, bandos boots, barrows gloves, fury

I would go to world 84. It's the unofficial lrc world. because there are very much people in there you'll have less chance to get attacked.

for gold I would only reccomend the one south in the picture shown above me, and the one a little bit to the left of the most left red dot. This is where the masses will move.

But that's the way I mine, method shown above may be just as effective.

Indeed the mass world method works just as fine, more players just makes the rocks collapses marginally more often and with lag can slow you down.

Mostly it comes down to personal taste and whether world 84 lags you; but there are 2 closer together gold rocks you can use (as u mentioned) whihc is gd for collapse mid-load

IMO I lag loads of world 84 and prefer to have a ncie quiet chat in my cc with clan mates and the odd other miner/slayer rather than spammers everywhere and therefore do the solo method detailed above.

Thanks guys you have been a tremendous help.

If you can, I'd use a Lava Titan over a BOB. I've heard the mining boost is worth more than the extra space, because you can bank very quickly anyways. I definitely prefer to use world 84, but it can be laggy.
