May 16, 201016 yr Hello, I'm playing around with an idea that I have, and I want to have the runescape applet inside of a Swing based Java application. Of course, I have no idea how to do this. I'd obviously need the URL of the runescape applet (which seems to be hidden in a mess of javascript) and possibly use ClassLoader? The only solution I have found is to attach an open source web browse, make it navigate to runescape.com and not let the user leave runescape.com. Can anyone think of any way of getting the actual applet and sticking it into a JPanel? Regards, Charlie

May 16, 201016 yr What exactly are you wanting to do? Jagex is notoriously bad at letting developers be involved in any way. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
May 17, 201016 yr I'm afraid that it is against Jagex's rules to load the applet inside of another application, you MUST just navigate to the proper game URL. We can't provide you with help on going around this, as it is against Jagex's rules. I've removed a post giving you advice on this, but I'll leave the thread open. Please, nobody post information on how to do it as the post will simply be removed. People can, however, help with any other problems. And as Y_guy asked, what is it exactly that you want to do? The more people know, the more they can help. I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].
