Barrows armour question

Hi everyone, i've got two quick questions about Barrows armours.

 

Are there any other specific uses for Verac's set apart from KQ and Barrows?

 

Ahrim's set...apart from perhaps pking, is the set effect of any use in any particular scenarios? Otherwise is it wise to keep robe top + bottom and sell the staff + hood?

Ahrims:

hood is kinda meh

the staff is useless

 

the top + bottom are the best robes ever

so if you're gonna mage, you pretty much wanna use ahrims (or FOG combat robes if you wanna save money)

 

Veracs:

veracs is the only set with a prayer bonus

the skirt is the best barrows skirt, and I wear it pretty much for everything in slayer. That or monkrobes bottoms if def doesnt matter.

 

rest of veracs is situationally useful

Well its good at most bosses, but zspear/whip and defender is usually better.

ahrims hood is usuful if you think you might die. It has the same magic attack as a farseer, and you dont keep it over your robes upon death. Farseer protects over ahrims robe top and bottom.

Alright, then i'll probably keep my verac skirt and ahrim robes..
