ZMI Running

I've been training agility for a while now. Wanted to raise it for my run will recharge faster while I'm going ZMI runs. I use the lunar banking method, with full bank/deposit all. I was wondering what agility level should be good enough so that I won't need to rest during my trips, or bring a terrorbird familiar with me.

I don't know exactly, but last time I tried it, I had about 68 agility and still needed energy restoration.

Since the agility update, it's a piece of cake. I did it a lot with 68 agility, and once every twenty runs or so I would run out of energy, but I was wearing dhides. Just wear weight reducing gear (i. e. spottier cape, boots of lightness, and penance gloves if you have them) and you'll be fine.

70 or so should be fine.. keep a few energy restores just in case.

btw- you'll get more xp + run less if you bank at the zmi guy. ;)

Hi if you're reading this you are amazing and I love you.

Maybe they'll release a bugless update for April Fools. That'd sure be a joke

Agreed. I find I always have at least 30k fire runes lying in my bank that don't sell on ge anyway, so I just use those to pay the banker. Even with the ge values, it's still cheaper than the tele runes lunar island.

i read someplace that 75+ is suggested, but will it make that big of a difference if i stay at 70?

If you're not super efficient and bank in only a few seconds, such as using mouse keys to get ess out and load into pouches, then 70 should be fine. I'm only at 70 and i don't think i need any energy restores, but i do like to afk some when i bank so i get more energy back compared to others.

You can also take a lot of the damage and wear even more weight reducing gear, or no gear.

I keep my weight at 0kg (regen brace, staff, etc.), but i wear an ardy cape instead of spotted/spottier cape.

Should i change this?

if you wear a spottier cape, it means you can replace other clothing with metal armor and still maintain 0kg.

that would help a fair bit.

edit: oh wait ardy cape helps with ZMI runecrafting doesn't it? if so keep the ardy cape.

It helps by giving extra runes. Seeing as you're doing ZMI, you most likely want more exp and not gp so you should probably change to the spottier cape. If you want gp, either craft natures, or what ever rune is most profitable at your level, or do another form of money making.
